Guitar lessons in Leicester

Hi I'm Derek Roberts. I have been performing professionally since the age of thirteen in working bands from contemporary pop to rock and blues and have done extensive work in a variety of jazz ensembles and with the worlds greatest Indian classical musicians.  My experience as a guitarist has been at the core of my life and work since I started playing at eleven years old.

 

I have also worked as a record company head of production for over a decade and produced and made over 150 albums. Many of these works have won awards including the BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards. I have also produced large music festivals and worked extensively with media companies including the BBC and Asian and European channels. 

 

I have worked within a range of creative industry businesses as a video producer and photographer and run my own company DR Creative Productions which also has a range of talented industry people connected to it.
